How about a pathfinder feat?  My party really needed something like this Friday night.


Reactive Detection-Feat-requires Skill Focus(Perception)-When you fail a perception roll to detect a trap and are subjected to an attack by the trap, as a reaction you make a perception roll to detect the trap again.

Requires: item creation feat

Benefit:  You have the services of a person who can create any item you can create.  He/she requires only 75% of the normal amount needed to create any item you could create.  This person still requires all the time you would need to make the item and may not help in any way to adventure.  The GM may involve this person in adventures however.

Sorry to have been away for the last bit, its been a hectic time lately!  However, I’m back and I have an idea based on the number of fish fries I’ve seen in the last few days…

Religious obligations-Flaw-You are devoted to your religion to the extent it interferes with your work and life-Select a religion and choose holy days for it.  This must include major holidays and weekly obligations.  These obligations must include at least 20% of your time.  You may select a day of the week when you are fasting or some how otherwise unable to perform at your best.  On those days you take a -1 to all checks.  On major religions occasions  you may simple be unable to contribute to your parties abilities or you taken a major penalty of -3 to all checks due to extreme hunger or thirst.

By taking a flaw, you may take an additional feat.  Most flaws are taken at character generation.  However, at DM’s discretion, you may take this flaw after character generation if you character becomes very religions in game.

Last night I feel asleep after work, I think im getting sick.  SO no post from yesterday.  However here is one that would have been useful in my 4e game

Precise spell-Feat-When you have line of sight to a target, but not line of effect, you now how line of effect to the target of the spell.

Something I want for a 4e character of mine, but I think it might work well for Pathfinder as well….

The Hard Way-Feat-Let’s just skip the easy way, and more right to hard…-Instead of charisma for Intimidate and Gather Information checks, you may use strength.  The target may become hostile to you after you gather the information desired from the target.

Its been a while since we had a 4e DnD feat, how about something that is applicable to now…


Last Minute-Feat-When you are about to fail a skill challenge, all people with this feat may immediately continue the challenge using the highest DCs for the challenge.  The DM may increase the DC for some skills or rule some are impossible.  You may continue the challenge until each person with this feat fails a check.  If the number of success reaches the success threshold before all members with this feat fail, you may consider the challenge as being successfully completed.

Lets go back to my failure idea. I’ve bounced this idea around the Internet, and this seems like the consensus for pathfinder

Expanded failure range-feat-for any skill check that you may fail, but are allowed a range to fail within such as disable device, your new failure range is 5 +your ability modifier.

Daily Punch 1-29-13

Talking with some people on the Paizo forums and this come up.  I think requiring the previous feat will really help make some healers into extraordinary battlefield leaders!

Radiant protection-Feat-Requires Efficient Healing-any creature that is the target of one of your healing effects receives a +2 Holy bonus to AC.  This bonus applied to Flat Footed and touch armor classes as well.  This bonus lasts until the end of your next turn.
