Daily Punch 9-1-23 Umbilus Colostrum item for Call of Cthulhu 7th Ed

Umbilus Colostrum
Milked from the foul broodmothers of the minotaurs, this milk is oddly gray in color and is warm to the touch even if kept in a refrigerator.   The milk energizes the body and extends life all while stripping the soul.  If a person drinks eight ounces of milk, the person’s strength, constitution, and power increases by 50 each and they can not die from natural causes for one week.  However, they lose 1d6 sanity.
This milk also does not spoil so it can be stored near indefinitely if stored in a cool place.  If minute amounts of milk are added to bulk milk supplies, then the milk will appear much higher in quality, nearly doubles the quantity, and fetch a better price.

The minotaur is a creature made from a man, dead or alive, a star mite, process/created inside a External Umbilus. The creature stands about seven feet tall, on two legs, and is extremally muscular. Its body is wrapped in oddly corded muscles and veins pulse strangely below its skin. Its legs bend backwards like a cows, but the skeleton is bent at odd angles as its misshaped physiology should not support its weight or life. Its hands have four fingers, but they jut from the palm at odd, unfortunate angels. Its breaths are labored as it walks and stands. Its head is that of a cow and older ones, if they survive that long, can grow horns with bulging eyes that are too close together on its cow face. It is covered in fur that follow standard bovine patterns. In the center of its chest is a star mite that’s tendrils burrow deep into the creature joining its nervous system, circulatory, and digestive systems.
These minotaurs must be nursed by an external umbilus’s colostrum to be as strong as they can be. If they do not drink the colostrum, they are much weaker having their STR drop to 80 and their CON drop to 50 and they will not survive past a few, painful days.

Daily Punch 7-18-23 Dream Walking Spell for Call of Cthulhu 7th edition

How about we just make people walk away?

Dream walking

Cost: 3 magic points
Casting time: Instantaneous
You whisper a lullaby at a target. The target must be within ten yards of the caster. For the spell to take effect the caster must succeed in an opposed POW roll with the target. If the target is willing, there is no opposed check. If the caster succeeds, the target is put into a dream like state for 1d6 rounds and the caster say a destination. The target will then choose the best method to go to that destination and move in that direction. If this results in the target boarding trains or other modes of transportation where the target must interact with other people, the target will answer questions as is half asleep, but will still act normally. If the caster beats the target by two degrees of success ( a failure vs a hard success for example), the time increases to 1d6 hours. If the caster successes by three degrees of success, the time increases to 1d6 days. If the target is under the effect of this spell for at least one hour, the caster can decide if the dream like state is restful or a nightmare. If the caster chooses nightmare, the target must make a SAN check at the end (1/1d6). The target of this spell will not have any memory of the spell being cast or how they got to their destination.

Fighting 40% (20/8), damage 1D8 + damage bonus
Dodge 25% (12/5),
Armor: The External umbilus has week skin stretched across its abdomen. Any damage to the creatures causes gouts of fluid to easily spray from External umbilus doing additional 1d3 damage spraying out five feet. Any creature within that range must attempt a dodge roll or be covered in the sickly sweet blood and amniotic fluid.
Sanity: 1d3/1d8

The external umbilus is mostly cow shaped, but it has a larger frame, head full of odd horns, and its abdomen is swollen to the point it drags on the ground and is paper thing. Also of note, running from the sternumto the tail is a closed opening surrounded by oddly shaped and swollen udders and teats. This is where the “minotaurs” emerge when the blessing is complete and how they are nursed.

Spoilers for tomorrow!
