Daily Punch 10-07-15 Awesome Rage feat for DnD 5e

Today, let’s build on the rage barbarians already get.

Awesome Rage

You are a true source of carnage on the battlefield and a terror to behold.  None can withstand your fury!  Gain the following:

  • While raging, you can reduce the number of rounds you rage by 1/2.  If you do so, you gain advantage on all Strength-based attacks.
  • Double the damage done from your Rage Damage class feature.
  • While raging, you have also have advantage on all Constitution checks and Constitution saving throws.

Empowered Rage (Combat)

Most simply see red, but you only see black.

Daily Punch 10-05-15 Improved Raging Blood feat for Pathfinder

You can dabble as a bloodrager from a sorcerer, but let’s build on that a bit.

Improved Raging Blood

You strengthen the rage in your soul, fueling the fire in your heart.

Prerequisite: Raging Blood, 8th level

Benefit: You gain a 4th level bloodline power from the same bloodline as the one you selected when you took Raging Blood.  Increase the number of rounds you can be in a bloodrage by 2, and the bloodrage you can enter is exactly the same as a normal Bloodrager with all the same penalties and bonuses provided by the bloodrage ability.

Daily Punch 9-15-15 Fast Healer feat for DnD 5e

Sometimes you need a battle cleric to roll in, heal, and stomp some orcs.  Let’s work on that.

Fast Healer

You are a master of healing and heading into the fray.  Gain the following benefits:

  • Increase your Strength or Constitution by 1 to a maximum of 20.
  • When you cast healing word, instead of healing a 1d4, you now heal 1d8.  All dice gained from casting at higher levels are also 1d8 also.

Daily Punch 9-11-15 Force the Blade feat for Pathfinder

I love Power Attack, but I’d like to go in reverse.  Let’s see what we can do.

Force the Blade (Combat)

You grit your teeth and force the blade through armor sacrificing damage for accuracy.

Prerequisites: Str 13, base attack bonus +1.

Benefit: You can choose to take a –2 penalty on all melee damage rolls to gain a +1 bonus on all melee attack rolls. This penalty to damage decreased to a -1 penalty if you are making an attack with a two-handed weapon, a one handed weapon using two hands, or a primary natural weapon that adds 1-1/2 times your Strength modifier on damage rolls.

When your base attack bonus reaches +4, and every 4 points thereafter, the penalty increases by –2 to damage and the bonus to attack increases by +1.  These bonuses and penalties are modified for two handed weapons as above.

You must choose to use this feat before making an attack roll, and its effects last until your next turn. The bonus to hit does not apply to effects that do not deal hit point damage or non-weapon damage rolls.

Daily Punch 9-10-15 Many Strikes, One Wound feat for Pathfinder

I like Clustered Shots for Pathfinder.  We can do that in melee too!

Many Strikes, One Wound (Combat)

You’ve learned to strike hard and deep instead of the sloppy cuts of an amateur.

Prerequisites: Weapon Focus, Weapon Specialization, base attack bonus +6.

Benefit: When you use a full-attack action to make multiple melee weapon attacks against the same opponent, total the damage from all hits before applying that opponent’s damage reduction.

Special: If the massive damage optional rule is being used, that rule applies if the total damage you deal with this feat is equal to or exceeds half the opponent’s full normal hit points (minimum 50 points of damage).

Daily Punch 9-4-15 On Target metamagic feat for Pathfinder

I was reading a Pathfinder Tales novel, and one character summoned creatures on another.  I’d like to make that happen in my games.

On Target(Metamagic)

When you create life or unlife, you can cast it on a a target.

Benefit: When you cast a conjuration or necromancy spell that creates or animates any number of creatures under the effect of this metamagic, you can make a ranged touch attack an a target in range for each creature created at a target within the range of the spell.  If you hit the target with this attack, the creature is created on the target either grappling it or doing melee attack damage on the target as if it hit.  The target may also make any attacks it would normally get its on its turn.

Level Increase: +1 (an On the Target spell uses up a spell slot one level higher than the spell’s actual level.)

Daily Punch 7-21-15 Extra Spells feat for DnD 5e

How about getting extra spells based on your ability score for DnD 5e?  Let’s see what you think-

Extra Spells

You are a practiced spell caster who is either truly touched by the gods or a master in your own right.  Gain an number of extra spell slots equal to your spell casting ability modifier.  You may use these to cast one extra spell for each level you can cast spells.  You may not use these extra spell slots to cast more than one spell of the same level.  As an example, a wizard with an intelligence of 16 could cast three extra spells, and could cast those extra spells at spell levels 1, 2, and 3.  But that same wizard could not cast extra spells at levels 2, 3, and 3.  When you gain this feat, you must choose a spell casting class that will gain the extra spells.

Daily Punch 7-9-15 Against the Odds feat for DnD 5e

Ran a game of DnD 5e last night, and had a human rogue attacking into the dark.  That takes some brass.  Let’s start to reward that!

  • Increase your dexterity by 1 to a maximum of 20.
  • When you make an attack and have disadvantage, if you hit the target, you my apply sneak attack damage to that damage.

Daily Punch 7-8-15 Undead Destroyer feat for DnD 5e

Most undead are not weak to radiant in DnD 5e.  I want to fix this!

Undead Destroyer

The light you bring makes all who serve unlife shrink to the shadows.  Gain the following benefits:

  • Increase your Intelligence, wisdom, or charisma by 1 to a maximum of 20.
  • When you do radiant damage to an undead, it must make a Charisma saving throw.  On a failure, it gains damage vulnerability: radiant for one turn, including the attack you just did.
