We all focus on what we’re good at, so how about some focus for spell casters in Shadowrun?

 

Special Spell Training 

Cost: 10 Karma

Benefit: You’ve spent time working on one type of spell, so much so you don’t even feel the spell as it drains you.  When you take this quality choose a type of spell (combat, detection, etc), when you cast that spell of that type reduce the drain by 2 to a minimum of 1.

Daily Punch 7-14-14 On the Cheap quality for Shadowrun 5e

In Missions, it costs some money to fix things when they get shot up.  There is a lot of discussion currently about how much that should cost.  I’d like to throw my few neuyen into this mix….

 

On the Cheap

Cost: 7 Karma

Benefit: You know how to make things happen and cheap.  When you assist in repairing gear and have access to junk of the same kind (scrapyard for cars, broken drones for drones etc) you reduce the cost to fix any fixable item by 30% to a maximum of 95% of the total cost to fix an item.

How about a quality for Shadowrun 5e?

Cost: 20 Karma

You move like greased lightning.  Hard to see where you were let alone where you are!  For the first round of combat, if you initiative total is 11 greater than any other person in the combat, you gain one round of actions all to yourself, subtract 10, and then initiative passes as normal.

Well there are exoskeleton arms, there has to be legs….

 

Legs+:  The latest in exoskeliton enhancements for the mage on the go or person ravaged by disease in the third world.  These items provide additional movement and increase the jump of any person wairing them.  As with the other exoskeleton items provided by Horison, the uses must be operating using a wireless connection.  Each point of rating adds to your sprint and jump tests.  wireless bonus: This item must be controlled wirelessly to enable the full effect of the gear.

My local technomancers have been having some problems.  How about some positive qualities.

You are awesome and you know it!  The net is your biz and you’re its wiz.  When you use a complex form, increase the results of the complex form by 1.5.  As an example, if you use resonance spike and have 4 net hits, you cause 6 boxes of damage.

Some people just help other…sometimes….

 

 

Selfless Mage

Cost: 10 karma

Some people just help others….I know its crazy, but they do…sometimes….I don’t understand it either.  When a character with this quality gives at least three dice to another character as a counter spell, the counter spell dice pool increases by two dice.  The character can do this as many times as possible to normally counter spell.
