Let’s bring some of my job into this. I teach biology and chemistry and A LOT of biochemistry. Funny story- you run on electricity! One of the major points of metabolism is to break chemical bond and pull out high powered electrons. Those go to power thing that make your energy (ATP). What if we stole those electrons for something else?

Description

Capacity -; Usage: 1/hour

This forearm sized flat roll with an attachment slot is laid on to a patch of flesh. After an hour, it collects enough of your own biological energy to recharge one device of bulk 1 or less or 20 charges for one clip of ammunition. Multiple charges can be applied to one device after each hour of recuperation on the part of the person wearing the biocharger. The biocharger does take a toll on the wearer though. The wearer takes a -1 penalty to Fortitude saves and loses 1 hit point per level while earing the device.

Description

Capacity 20; Usage: 10/Minute

These thin, translucent film can be placed on any surface, cut to shape, and linked to a local communication device. The communication device now transmit its information to the device but allows you to see through the film and observe your surroundings as normal. This device also comes with software that lets you customize the output that the heads up display receives. This customization lasts for until it is changed, and requires 10 minutes of time.

Rare Conjuration
Cast 1 hour; Secondary Casters up to 5
Primary Check Arcana, Nature, or Occultism (trained); Secondary Checks Arcana, Nature, or Occultism (any check will assist)
Range 10 ft.; Target 1 doorway


You and your allies all start a magical trail at a door way. Depending on the degree of success, the ritual creates a bond with the target and all who attempted to cast the spell regardless of success that can be used to teleport the casters back to this location as if they had just started to walk through the doorway.

Critical Success You create a bond with the door that lasts for eight hours.
Success As critical success, but the bond only lasts for two hours.
Failure You fail to create a bond with the door, and magical backlash leaves you stupefied 1 for 24 hours.
Critical Failure As failure, but in addition, You are randomly teleported 500 feet into a direction that would not harm you such as into solid rock or 500 feet into the air, but may put in in harm such as on flat, solid ground but in a monsters den.

Basics–  HAVE CARGO?  WILL SHIP!  Jobs and adventure hooks for Space Freighter Campaigns is a source book to build adventures, cargo, and passengers on the fly.  If you need charts to build something quick, this is the book for you.

Breakdown- Not much more to say, this is a book about building random cargo and passengers for space adventures and building hooks from that.

Mechanics or Crunch– This is a pretty system neutral book helping you run games from the Star Trek universe to Pathfinder.  No real crunch here for one specific game. -/5

Theme or Fluff– Here is the meat and potatoes of the book-story through randomness and ideas.  The book is set up with lots of tables to roll on to help you build that adventure quickly.  Need something to ship somewhere? That’s this book.  From colonists in hypersleep to  guns to space rebels, that’s the random stuff the tables will help you build.  It’s well done with flow charts to help you build the people, places, and things you will ship to other people, places, and things.  5/5

Execution– Solid and well done execution!  Hyperlinks, good layout, and nice text spacing makes this a breeze to read, skim, and navigate. 5/5Summary– This is a great book that only some of you will need.  If you are playing Warhammer 40K as a space marine, this book won’t really help you.  Space, but no shipping.  If you are playing a pirate in the age of sail, you won’t need this book either.  Shipping, but no space.  But if you need a cargo and personal manifest for your Firefly game, this will be your absolute jam.  This is absolutely the reason DriveThruRPG exists-solid work done by independent creators that major studios would not be able to do.  It’s well done and has great ideas, but the audience would not be as broad as a generic DnD book.  However, if you want some space shipping and all the random stuff that happens in between, then this is the book for you!  100%
