I’ve been listening to Neuromancer and I think its time for some Shadowrun

 

Recorded conciseness-provides a computer program with a computer skill equal to 4,000 Y.  This computer program use any programs that you have available and can work along side you as if it were a drone.  Many options are available, but higher skill conciseness have their own quirks that the GM may incorporate.

Intensive training-Pathfinder feat-you may take this feat multiple times.  For every two times you take this feat, permanently increase one of your stats by one.  This increases your stats as if you had gained four levels and does not have a named bonus.

We’re BACK!

Hello all,

ThroatPunchGames is back from winter break.  This year will be our biggest year yet and we’re diving deeper into everything!

First, ThroatPunchGames is on twitter!  follow my random thoughts @ThroatPunchG   more on this when I get to my Gaming Resolutions.

Second, the reason your all here.  Today’s gaming Idea for pathfinder!

Aquatic Weapon-Feat-Choose one weapon you are proficient in.  This weapon gains the aquatic keyword.  When you make attacks with it in the water, you take no penalty to attack, but do take any penalty to damage.  Ranged weapons have their attack range doubled for purposes of determine attack penalty ie a bow may fire 10 feet at a -1 penalty.

Now my gaming resolutions for the year:

1)Live tweet all games I am in.  So you can follow what im doing out in the world

2)Attend more conventions!  I want to go to a convention every other month and see how other people play the games I love.

3)Make Jackson MI the RPG gaming capital of Michigan!  Gaming is kind of slow in my new city.  I think in about a year, Ill have this place on fire (one way OR ANOTHER!)

4)Post every weekday.  I’ve got ideas and now you get to hear them!

5)Get an adventure published.  Need to build that portfolio the hard way!

6)Restart the Random RPG Gaming Group (RRGG)!  I want to play a random game at least once every three weeks.  We’re gonna get this going.  I want to have a broad spectrum of places to draw ideas from.

 

I think that sounds good.  Look for more ideas every day!

Injury and the daily punch 12-10-12

Stabbed my foot today and it gave me an idea for pathfinder and Arcanis

Flaw or negative feat
When you suffer a critical hit, in addition to all other effects your movement speed is reduced by half for 24 hours or until a spell like remove affliction or restoration cast on you.  If you suffer another critical hit while effected by this feat your movement speed becomes 5ft.  If you take this feat/flaw then you gain an additional feat.

You are obsessively friendly and naive. You must act so at all times.  In game terms you treat all people as friendly, may not perform any actions to determine if any one is lying to you, and you must never act in the first round of combat as you are astounded by the actions around you.

Duration : caster level rounds
Saving throw: will negates
Effect:  while under the spell, the target is in a stupor of inaction.  To take its turn as normal, the target must make an additional will saving throw until the spell ends.  The target will still act normality out of turn ( ie. Opportunity actions etc).

Office ‘Procurement’ 

Cost: 5, 10, or 15 BP

Requires: Day Job 1-3

For each rank in Day Job, you may gain gear equal to rank * 5,000 ¥.   To gain the item, you must make a test (persuasion or stealth) equal to item cost/(Day Job Rank *1,000).  If you fail, you are caught trying to obtain an item and your GM decides what your punishment will be.  Glitch and critical Glitches carry much more significant penalties.

I was watching a game of 4e and saw a problem happen.  This feat will hopefully solve that problem…

Invigorate the Spirit

all healing powers you do may be changed to give the recipient of healing half as many temporary hit points instead of healing them as usual.  When this feat is used, if the original power requires healing surges for use, then the target must still spend a healing surge.
