Daily Punch 5-16-16 Watched Clock spell for DnD 5e

Been working on something that I think you will all enjoy, but here is a side idea I had while making it.

 

 

Watched Clock

4th-level evocation

Casting Time: 1 action

Range: Touch

Components: V,S,M(a waterclock’s hour hand)

Duration: 1 hour or until dispelled

This spell decelerates temporal effects of spells on a subject doubling the duration of all spells on the subject while watched clock is in effect.  Also, the target of this spell may end it at any time to reroll a concentration check using as many dice as were rolled in the original check.

Daily Punch 3-30-16 Disarmoring Blades spell for DnD 5e

I like the idea of spells knocking down armor, so let’s keep working on that theme.

 

Disarmoring Blades

1st level evocation

Casting Time: 1 action

Range: 50 feet

Components: V, S

Duration: instantaneous

You point at a target in range and make a ranged spell attack.  On a hit, blades of force shoot from your fingers and slice the targets armor rending it and reducing its effectiveness.  Until the armor is repaired, the AC of the target is reduced by 2.  If the target armor is natural armor, then a long rest will repair the armor or any spell that heals 5 hit points of damage will also restore the armor.  If the target has no armor or receives its armor from ability scores alone, then this spell has no effect.

Daily Punch 3-29-16 Annoying Gnats cantrip for DnD 5e

How about some more utility spells for DnD 5e

 

 

Annoying Gnats

conjuration cantrip

Casting Time: 1 action

Range: 50 feet

Components: V, S

Duration: 1 round

You conjure gnats that fly around the face of a creature in range.  That creature must make a Wisdom saving throw.  On a failure, they are annoyed with the gnats so much they take a -1 penalty to their AC for the spells duration.

Daily Punch 3-23-16 No_Clip spell for Shadowrun 5e

Here is a spell I’ve been thinking about for a long time and I want to get it out there to see what people think of it.  Why not be able to walk through walls in Shadowrun?

The old pixel games had some awesome cheats to them.  One of the best was the No_Clip where you could walk through walls.  Now you can do that in real life!  You can’t walk through any living material and you can’t walk through living earth, but any mundane material could be walk through.  You will appear on the other side.  The force of the spell must be equal to the number of meters of material you must walk through, and for each half meter of material you attempt to walk through, you must roll the Objects Resistance dice pool and add all hits to the drain value of the spell.  Each round you sustain the spell, you must make the Drain roll. No_Clip can only be used on yourself, but Game Genie can be used on a character you touch while you sustain the spell.

 

 

Daily Punch 1-6-15 Weapon Halo spell for DnD 5e

Time for the last Eldritch Knight spell for a bit-the Weapon Halo!

Range: Personal
Components: V, S, M (a weapon)
Duration: Concentration, up to 1 minute

When you cast this spell and touch a melee weapon, you are instantly surrounded by fiery and icy floating versions of the weapon.  For the duration of this spell, any creature that attempts to attack you with a melee attack has disadvantage and takes 2d6 cold and 2d6 fire damage.  The creature that succeeds at a Constitution saving throw  reduces the damage by half for each type of damage.

Daily Punch 1-5-16 Force Backswing spell DnD 5e

I’m working my way up from level 1 to 4 for the Eldritch Knight, so today will be level 3 and the Force Backswing!

Range: touch
Components: V, S, M (a weapon)
Duration: 1 minute

When you cast this spell and touch up to two melee weapons, these weapons take on a ghostly aura as force echos of the movement follow them wherever they move.  For the duration of this spell, any creature you strike with a weapon under the effect of this spell takes an additional 3d6 force damage as the echos rip through the target.

How about we continue the spells for DnD 5e and the Eldritch Knight?

Casting Time: 1 action
Range: 30 feet or touch
Components: V, S, M (a weapon)
Duration: instantaneous

Choose a target in range, and either make a melee spell attack roll or a ranged spell attack roll.  On a hit, the target takes damage equal to the weapon’s damage  plus your spellcasting ability modifier as you throw or strike the target with the weapon.  Next, the creature must make a Dexterity saving throw.  On a failure, lightning shoots from the sky and does target takes 4d6 lightning damage.  On a success, the spell fails, but the spell slot is not used.  In either case, the weapon returns to your hand.

1st-level conjuration
Casting Time: 1 bonus action
Range: touch
Components: V, S, M (a weapon)
Duration: Concentration, up to 1 minute
When you touch a weapon while casting this spell, you imbue it with a piece of your will.  This weapon can float five feet high, move, and make attacks for you while you concentrate on the spell.  Each turn as a bonus action or action, you can command the weapon to make one attack for you using your melee spell casting attack bonus.  The weapons damage type is the same are the weapon’s normal damage.  When you move, you can mentally command the weapon to move up to 30 feet as well.

When the spell ends, the weapon flies back to your hand.  If your hands are full, then it falls at your feet.

Daily Punch 12-9-15 Transfusion spell for Shadow of the Demon Lord

I’ve been thinking about this spell for Shadow of the Demon Lord for a bit. Should it be alchemy or should ti be technology?  How about it being a spell both could take?

You quickly pull a connected series of tubes, needles, and vials from your pockets, jam one needle into one target and then another into the other.  One target loses hit points equal to its healing rate.  The other target gains gains hit points equal to double its healing rate.  Roll a d20.  On a one, instead of one target healing double, it loses hit points equal to its healing rate as the process works incorrectly and that character is racked with pain from a bad reaction.
