Daily Punch 10-6-20 Gas Creature Race template for DCCRPG/Star Crawl

Reading Star Crawl, and I thought about this as I went through the race section.

Gas Creature: Some creatures are not beheld to a body. They exist as a creature of pure thought and molecules. These intelligent gasses are far harder to hurt then the simple protein based bodies of their kin, but lack the physical form to do much heavy lifting.
Stat Adjustments: Strength -2; Intelligence +2; Hit Die -1 Step (min d4)
Special Abilities: Gas Form (physical damage is reduced to minimum for all attacks), Space farer(does not need space suit in areas of no oxygen and is not harmed by environmental extreme cold or hot but take normal elemental damage from weapon, attack, or spell)

As a reaction, you can spend 2 Resolve Points to grant an ally within 60 feet who just fell to zero hit points 1 hit points and stamina equal to 1/4 their maximum preventing them dying. You can’t grant the same ally the benefits of this ability again until both you and your ally have recovered your Resolve Points after an 8-hour rest or its equivalent.

When this spell is cast, the caster may not move in a round, but may attack or cast another spell.

Daily Punch 9-30-20 Parkour Feat for DnD 5e

If we’re doing the rounds, let’s do all the rounds! Had to double check the rules on this, but jump and climb is Athletics and solidly strength based. Let’s fix that!

Parkour

Why flex when you can flow? Gain the following benefits:

  • Increase your Dexterity by 1, to a maximum of 20.
  • You gain advantage on Strength(Athletics) and Dexterity(Athletics) checks to jump.
  • When you are prone at the start of your turn, you can return to standing without taking a penalty to movement.
  • You can use Dexterity(Athletics) in place of Strength(Athletics) for skill checks.

Your more noble than muscles, so you move smoother instead of forceful. Choose high jump, long jump, or climb action. Instead of using Athletics for this skill, you can use Acrobatics instead.

Note-you can take this multiple times each time choosing a different action.

You whisper into your fist and punch into a creatures head a mind. Make a melee spell attack. If you hit, you deal 1d4 mental damage . On a critical success, the target is stupefied 1.

Heightened (3rd) The initial damage increases to 1d4 + your spellcasting ability modifier and the target is stupefied 1. On a critical success, the target is stunned 1.

Heightened (5th) The initial damage increases to 2d4 + your spellcasting ability modifier and the target is stunned 1 and stupefied 1. On a critical success, the target is stupefied 2 instead.

Heightened (7th) The initial damage increases to 3d4 + your spellcasting ability modifier and the target is stunned 1 and stupefied 2. On a critical success, the target is stunned 2 and stupefied 2 instead.

Heightened (9th) The initial damage increases to 4d4 + your spellcasting ability modifier and the target is stunned 1 and stupefied 2. On a critical success, the target is instead stunned 2 and stupefied 3.

The Wife had an awesome idea, so I am stealing it!

Arrow of Animal Summoning

Wondrous item, uncommon

This arrow is made from the antlers of a stag and carved with runes. When a creature fires this arrow, they may whisper the name of an animal that can be summoned by conjure animals. If the arrow strikes a creature, the animal is summoned as per the spell and attacks the target. The summoned animal stays summoned until it is killed, the spell is dispelled by a spell, or the target is killed. The spell is not ended otherwise. The arrow becomes a regular arrow after the spell ends.
