Where is the love for ranged combat in Pathfinder?  Here’s some now..

Ranged Defense [Combat]  When you make a ranged attack that provokes an attack of opportunity, make a CMD vs. CMB check with a +4 bonus.  Every enemy who’s CMD you beat is denied an attack of opportunity.

Been thinking about this because of work, pathfinder alchemist infusion

components S,M (transfusion equipment costing no more then 50 copper)

range touch

target one ally or yourself and another ally or helpless living creature with describable anatomy

duration instant

When cast, one ally or helpless creature takes up to 20 points of damage.  This damage may not be blocked or reduced in any way.  You or one ally then gain an equal number of hit points equal to damage dealt.

Its time for a metamagic feat that my friend Willy and I thought up together

contingency spell after being targeted by an attack or spell, and after an attack roll is determined, before damage is dealt, or a saving throw is called for, you may cast a spell by raising the spell level by one level for any spell with the range of personal or two for any spell with a range of touch following the example of metamagic feats such as quicken spell or quit spell.

 

On a separate note, I completely forgot about the Monday Combo.  How about this, I’m cooking up some things for Eberron.  Next week Monday, more DnD Next Eberron!

Pathfinder thoughts from tonight

Reactionary Channeling requires channel divinity as a reaction to an attack, you may use your channel divinity ability, but it uses two uses of this ability.  Any other feats may be applied and you need not be conscious to use the ability, but you must be alive after the attack to use this ability.

Here is a 3.5/4th edition feat for today

Gaining the Upper Hand after killing a non-minion enemy and reducing the total number of conscious enemies to below your number of conscious allies, make an intimidate check as a swift/minor action.  This check sets the DC for the sense motive check all enemies must make to avoid becoming frightened or freeing (DM choice).  Mindless enemies are immune.

Its time for a multi game feat!

Advance into the cut when you kill an enemy with a melee attack, you may move 5 feet as a free action in between any other attacks this round.  Limit once per round.  This movement does not provoke any attacks from the enemies.

Daily Punch 10-29-12 On a Monday?

Hay gang, I just got my playtest packet.  I want to go over it.  The next Combo will be based on it, so in the meantime, its a pathfinder feat!

Divine Guidance requires Channel Divinity, Selective Channeling  when you channel divinity, you may select a number of enemies in the burst that are you may target for turn undead equal to your charisma modifier.  This turn damage is in addition to the people your also healed with channel divinity

Hush Brd 0, Wiz/Sor 1, Clr 1 Standard Action Verbal Somatic  Range medium.    You raise you finger to you lips and blow making a shiss noise.  One target makes a Will saving throw.  If they fail, target can not speak for 1 round/caster level.  Target can still move and may make noise in any other fashion
