More Shadowrun 5e fun for today, this on for my mages out there-

 

Focus

Cost: 10 karma

You can split you concentration easily to the point you can keep two conversations running simultaneously in different languages at the same time.  That’s child’s play compared to what you do with magic.  When maintaining a spell, the dice pool penalty drops to a -2 instead of a -3 when you cast another spell.

Daily Punch 11-17-14 Better Aim quality for Shadowrun

Lot’s of Shadowrun over the weekend.  Let’s put a few ideas out there.

 

Better Aim

Cost: 5 karma

You spend time at the range, and you hit your mark because of it.  If you take an aim action, you now get either +2 accuracy to the weapon or +2 dice to the attack.

Daily Punch 11-5-14 Trust Fund quality for Shadowrun 5e

I like that Pathfinder has some Pathfinder Society Specific feats and abilities.  I’d like to see a few of those in Shadowrun.  Let’s make the first one.

 

Trust Fund

Cost: 2-6 Karma

You’re pretty smart, and you learned to read the megacorps from a young age.  Also, you figured out how to invest in the stock market before you were out of diapers and set up a trust fund to help yourself out no matter what trouble you get yourself into.  Now, you can get a bit of extra scratch each month from those investments.  It’s not going to break the bank, but it get you better than McHue’s for lunch.  You can spend 2, 4, or 6 karma, and at the end of every month of time in Shadowrun Missions gain 500Y, 1000Y, 1500Y from your current stock portfolio.  You may not withdraw the rest of your stocks and only gain this bonus at the end of the month.

Daily Punch 10-27-14 BioReactor for Shadowrun 5e

Tired of always having to pay Horizon’s exorbitant fees when your buying back you own cells for your BioGel?  Well here is a way to get around that!

10,000Y  x BioReactor rating  BioGel rating x 2 BioReactor Rating x 10 units

 

Make your own BioGel!  Using this BioReactor, you produce the indicated quantity of BioGel in one day spending 1/5 of the cost of the BioGel you would normally spend.  To use the BioReactor, you must make a Biotech+Logic check with the DC equal to the rating of the BioGel being produced.  If you fail, the reagents used to make this batch of BioGel are lost.  This check is made at the end of a day producing BioGel.  The BioReactor produces the BioGel unassisted, so you you may do other things during a day when you produce BioGel.

Daily Punch 10-08-14 BioBox For Shadowrun 5e

My players built this custom during their last Shadowrun game.  I think this needs a build here.

 

BioBox

Why sneak in when you can be delivered?  the biobox was designed for insertion/extraction jobs.  The box is sized for one human, two human, troll, or two trolls.  The box is led lined, interlaced with biological material prevents assessing, and temperature controlled to prevent thermal scans.  While not standard, the box can be upgraded with air tanks as it is air tight, sound dampeners, electrical warfare devices for electronic dampening, and medical equipment for keeping a target unconscious.

Daily Punch 9-2-14 Skilled Wire implant for Shadowrun 5e

Been thinking about data jacks and directly plugging in to a device.  Why not have a cord you can control?

Skilled Wire is a single cord that is implanted either directly into your arm or leg and is directly connected to either a RCC, deck, internal commlink, or a datajack.  It can extend up to one meter.  Skilled wires have a pilot rating equal to its rating, can only be given commands remotely, never be actively piloted, but you are always consider to be directly connected to it and anything it connects to.  It can not be hacked as it and any device are consider to be connected, never in wireless mode. As a simple action, you can command Skilled Wire to directly connect to a device with a data jack.  Skilled Wire will attempt to do so stealthily with a stealth dice pool equal to double its rating.

Daily Punch 8-7-14 Extra specialization quality for Shadowrun 5e

How about being able to specialize in more then one thing in Shadowrun 5e?

 

Extra Specialization

Cost: 10 + 5  karma per specialization beyond the first.

You focus on one area and really spend your time working on that to the point all facets of that task are almost second nature to you.  When you take this quality, you may spend additional karma to specialize in a skill that you are already specialized in.  You must specialize in a second area.

Daily Punch 8-4-14 On the Money quality for Shadowrun 5e

I’ve had quite a few players at my table get mad when they only grazed a target, let’s fix that.

 

On the Money

Cost: 4 Karma

Life is a lot of absolutes for you: food/no food, rent money/sleeping in the car, hit/miss.  When you attack a target with a melee or ranged weapon and you score a grazing hit, you are considered to have hit the target doing base damage for the weapon or ammunition.
