My wife plays a druid, but she wants to stay a bit out of the way. How about a way to do that and not have to fire a crossbow? How about a spell?
Star Light Strike
Evocation cantrip
Casting Time: 1 action
Range: 100 feet
Components: V,S
Duration: Instantaneous
You call the light of the stars down to scorch your opponent. Choose one creature within range. A target must succeed on a Dexterity saving throw or take 1d6 radiant damage.
This spell’s damage increases by 1d6 when you reach 5th level (2d6), 11th level (3d6), and 17th level (4d6)

Radiant is divine damage, not starlight. This is evocation but not considered radiant as I understand it.
It gets weird with radiant. I prefer radiant as divine only, but a number of star pack warlock spells/powers are radiant, and all of those are star based. I’d like to give the wizard a chance to play as well. But, I also put it at lower damage then the standard wizard cantrips too.
I haven’t seen that before. What is a star pack warlock?
