Soul Feast
1st-level necromancy
Casting Time: 1 action
Range: Self
Components: V,S
Duration: Concentration, up to 1 minute
You begin to control the forces of live and death as souls move through you to get to the underworld. When a creature takes damage within 30 feet of you, it takes an extra 1d4 necrotic damage as you drain away pieces of it soul as vaporous mists. You heal the same amount as they were damaged for.
At Higher Levels. When you cast this spell using a spell slot of 2nd or higher, the damage increases by 1d4 for each level above the 1st.

It’s close, but not exactly the same. I’d like some more necromancy at 1st level, and a modified vampiric touch seems like a good place to start.
